I think if you feed your beardie around 5-6 he is getting enough live food for the day. The rest should be salad. Anything over that is over feeding your beardie. With that in mind a nice size colony is still needed. Hissers are too hard shelled to be a good food source for the beardies. To much undigestable pieces.
