Of course, part of that reason is the cost of having 19 cats and one dog kenneled and part is that most of mine are former ferals or rescues and they are not fond of strangers or being cornered. Mostly though it is because cats hate change and I think they are more comfortable in their own home and if they are there, they know you will be back.
