On this one you will hear as many answers as the number of people that reply. I can only tell you what I do with my 15 cats. Dry food is left out available 24/7. They like to graze. Mine also get 1/3 each of canned food once a day. It is more a treat than anything else but they love it and look forward to it. So they get it. Thanks for rescueing your kitty.
