For those of you that have outside cats and live in a cold climate. Remember that your kitties need shelter from the wind and snow, and fresh water and food to survive the winter. I use those dog houses called Igloo's for mine and I thaw their water and refill their food dishes twice a day, making sure to sweep away the snow so they don't have to sit their little rumps in a snow drift to eat. Also be careful about what kind of antifreeze that you use and the type of salt that you put down too. Many are toxic to animals so check the labels. If you park your car outside, make sure to hit the hood before you start it to startle any animal that has crawled up in there to get warm. ----- PHWildCat/Tessa and 18 cats, 1 dog and even a hamster Cat Board Monitor and Chat Host Pet Hobbyist
