Yes, they do work. I used to use them on my cat, Psycho, back in 1997. The only problem, is that they can still pull at the threads in furnature or the tatters of a linolium floor where they have already scent marked and partially destroyed. That seems to be the case especially if they are a more destructive cat. In other words, yes they keep the cat from scratching, absolutly, but they don't keep it from 'pulling' at things. They are very easy to use and definatly worth trying.-- Jennifer
