We also have been using claw caps such as SoftPaws for almost 5 years. We recently switched to a purple colored brand from an online source (not sure where). The upside of the purple ones is it is easy to notice when one needs to be replaced. The downside of the purple ones is it's harder to fill with glue since you can't see the glue go in.



Our cat struggles sometimes and he sometimes screams in pain. My husband puts the caps on and I've been trying to tell him it can be painful. I used to get my nails done. The procedure is almost identical - supergluing a cover on the nail. If the glue adheres with any kind of pressure on the nail, it can hurt a lot. Anyway, my husband hasn't figured out a better way to glue them on. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?
