Hi all ... I realize this has been a topic before on this board .. however, I feel the need to spread the news.

Please don't declaw your cats. There is another alernative! Softpaws are an AMAZING product. Honestly! I have been putting them on my cat for about 6 years now. They are incrdible.

It's true what they say, the temperment of the cat does matter. My older cat is extremely docile and doesn't struggle when I put them on and doesn't chew them off. But I have just started putting them on my Rex kitten (who is beyond hyper) and while it is a struggle, it's worth it in the end to know the furniture is safe and she still has all her claws.

I think what amazes me more is Vet's bewilderment to the product. I have spoken to 3 separate vets who have never heard of the product. And it is impossible to find in stores in Canada. But, I order them off the internet from the US because it is worth it!

So, before you bring kitty to the vet for a painfully unnecessary procedure, check out www.softpaws.com and see what the alternative looks like .... you might just like what you see.
