ohmigawd! Is that little David? I thought he was supposed to be a cute little eight year old forever?!?! When did he grow up? hee-hee-hee, mama has been having a problem with this issue recently, I really thought my baby would stay small longer!

Oh where to start? I hadn't yet met Big Scary Man when I left the boards. The ex boyfriend was the son of a drama queen, ex-husband of a drama queen. Sweet guy; I left anyway. Six months later Hubby and I were set up on a blind date.

Punky was born nearly 6 months ago - the time flies! I swear she was just a little thing in my arms five minutes ago! She is working hard on this crawling thing, if she could just get it together.... We call her Ellie.

Annie is now 9 to my best guess. She is still needy, always wants to be reassured she is loved and not going back to the barn. But she is still a child friendly cat - she has lost fistfuls of fur to the baby already!

Lizzy is 8 and fat, fat, fat! Hubby (Big Scary Man) calls her the pirate kitty, calling out "yarr! when ever she goes past. Your memory is great, Lizzy is a diluted torbie.

Romeo passed away on Valentine's Day 2004. The last two weeks of his life were slow, rough - I don't think he was in a lot of pain, but everything seemed to take more energy then he had. He had degenerative cardiomyaphthy, the chambers of his heart swelled inward until there wasn't enough room for the bloodflow to support him.

A month later a girlfriend called to tell me she had just witnessed a female kitten born with Romeo's coloring, down to the peachy butt. She named her Juliet, and the kitten came to live with me 8 weeks later.

Only she was nothing like Romes. Haughty, unloving, I swear she sneered down her regal nose at me every day. And she is the first cat I've been owned by that never answered to her name. When she was a year old I started calling her Stinky Julie for the lousy attitude. Suddenly she asked when I called, and would even let me pet her. So now she is just Stinky, and she is a joy to live with (finally!)

I hear rustling in the nursery, nap time must be over! Time to be da mama again.

Stick around Ruby! I've missed you!

Purrs,
Elizabeth
