hello,
we have a problem.

we have 2 , 2 year old cats, male and female. they are indoor cats. a flea problem has taken over the house. previously,
we had a cat roughly 3 years ago that died of feline luk. this was an indoor cat that got out time to time by accident. before he died he was loaded with fleas. once he died we bombed the house. we noticed that the fleas vanished. shortly after we got our 2 cats that are with us now. since we got them they had the occasional flea on them but until this week we have never seen it get so out of hand.
just the other day, we noticed there was flea dirt around the spot our cat has been laying for days. i inspected it closely to find moving worm-like bugs in the dirt. after alot of internet surfing i have come to realize that these worms are the flea larvae. we lifted up our throw rug in the living room and we found more. the grossest part of this problem is we have found some in our mattress. they seem to be in the holes of the fabric.
my questions are:
-is it normal to see the flea larvae?
-if we do see them does this indicate a severe outbreak to come in fleas?
-will bombing kill they larvae and eggs that may bee burrowed in our mattress and furnitures?

we are really freaking out about these flea worms? we could use any advice. thanks ahead of time....

by the way , we just frontline plus on the cats. we have used it in the past but for the past 2 or 3 months did not put any on the cats, since this time is when we found the larvae. i understand there was a chance these larvae have been in the bedding and furniture for years but its strange we JUST notived so many of them...thanks again...
