Thanks so much for all the responses...

I have read about the taurine deficiencies that can be a problem with raw diet, and will definately be supplementing. I have decided to try her on ground raw rabbit diet for 4-6 weeks (if she will eat it) and see if she improves. I talked to a new vet yesterday and she is going to look into putting topaz on cyclosporine which is a newer drug being used frequently now for dog skin allergies. It's just started being used a little in cats, though there is little info on it. Supposedly, though, it is much safer, with fewer side effects than the depomedrol. There are still tests that need to be done to monitor the treatment, and it is more expensive, but if it works, it would be well worth it. I'll keep you updated on her progress, and if it works, maybe it would be helpful for others with the same problem. Thanks a ton.
