Hi KitKat! Thanks for the welcome. I've posted over on the Shiba Inu board for so long I had forgotten that I probably needed to edit my prefs over here. Again, thanks for the additional information. I'll probably try to get a sample but it doesn't sound like it's going to be easy to get a clean sample so I know I'll be letting my vet get one. The test at Cornell came back normal as did all of the other blood tests. If the urine sample comes back normal as well then the xrays will be next. Boo has been a very good cat and very healty for all of these years. Other than regular checkups only once has he really been a patient. A number of years ago he had a scratch on his cornea probably from another cat in neighborhood and healed very well from that. I'll stop by again with an update.
