Hi Tammy,

Thanks for the update on Pookey! With your excellent care, and early detection, he has survived something most cats don't. If he does have a thyroid issue he should do very well. I had a kitty with hyperthyroididm who was on meds for 8 1/2 years, so try not to worry too much. Easier said than done, I know. We all tend to worry because we love our babies so much!

It's so good to hear that Stanley continues to do well. Again, excellent care goes a long way.

You gave some very good advice about the importance of taking senior kitties in for exams and labwork! Early detection of problems can add quality, and even years, to a cat's life, as you know
