KitKat has some good ideas there. If, after trying what KitKat suggested, you find that it doesn't seem to help, you might want to take her to the vet and have her checked for Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome. Cats do some pretty strange things when they have that. Some of the symptoms are rolling of the skin on their back, twitching when you touch them on the lower back, chasing their tail, etc. Samantha had it a few years ago. When she was touched on the lower back, right above her tail, her head would jerk like she was going to convulse. The vet gave her a cotisone injection and it eliminated it completely.
