My Butterscotch is a Maine Coon who doesn't groom himself! And he won't let anyone else groom him either! Consequently he's frequently matted, and I've had to take him once to the vet's to have him sedated for mat removal.

I've tried everything from cat slickers to those nubby gloves, even a regular human's vent brush (which usually gets the best response, but not for long!). He *might* let me groom him for a minute or two, but then he begins biting the brush, and me! He just *hates* the grooming process.

What can I do?!?!?

Thanx!
Patricia
