Cats may not all react the same way to a newcomer. The key is usually to make all introductions slow and gradual and be sure that all animals in the house get lots of attention. It's more difficult when you have fewer animals, with my crew a newcomer is usually accepted right away.

Don't worry, time and lots of patience will help
