of a cat passing away, at least for me, is that you are often not given ANY time to grieve. Now I'm all in favor of going on with your life and going on with it quickly, but I had quite a bit of negative reaction from people for being weepy when one of my cats had died days earlier (and was even literally screamed at by one person for this) Has anyone else had a similar experience?
