Well, last Wednesday was the worst, having to let Yoko move onto Rainbow Bridge and then getting the results of Milagro's scope. He wa also fixed. The scope revealed severl thorat abnormalities and unusual structures. His heart in on the wrong side, but funtioing very well, it's the throat that is the major concern, especially the flaps that open and close to the lungs when breathing/eating. Milagro will require further assessment by a specialist and see if there is anything surgicallky that can help him survive a long and happy life.
However, he is back home for now. Vet does not want him under anesthesia for a while, meaning putting off the viist to the specialist. So I worry every day, but he is such a happy, beautiful boy, that I treasure every moment with him and with my entire brood.
Regarding Yoko: Yes, God does help us make room for those that need it, just not always in the way we wish it to be. Milaro s with me forever because of Yoko's passing.
I feel guilty because it seems almost a relief the last few days of not having to clean up all the messes that poor Yoko made on a daily basis. To not ck to see if he is still breathing and ok, he was so tiny and more frail looking than I would allow myself to realize, until now.
THank you for for all your wisdom and support.
