I recently adopted an 8 year old Cornish Rex and he is adorable! However, whenever I make food, he is contantly in my face. He meows constantly (for at least an hour). He jumps up on the counter and tries to stick his nose in everything. When I sit down to eat, he tries to jump on me. He jumps down, then tries to get back on the counter. I have to get up from eating and attend to him. This continues, even while I'm doing dishes, until about an hour after the entire kitchen is clean. I've tried the spray bottle and it works for a moment, then he's at it gain. He's so funny, and so frustrating. It doesn't bother me too much, but I'm getting married and it bothers my future husband! Fischer (my new precious pet)does this same thing after he eats also. The same behavior, plus louder meowing. I don't know what to do!!
