Hello!

I have a 1-year-old male cat who is very outgoing and doesn't seem to mind driving. He looks out the windows and often sits on my lap, sometimes falling asleep. He even rode with my parents and their two dogs to Florida (from Ohio!).

Here's the situation: I am in college, living in an apartment, about an hour away from my family's home. I go home every weekend. I've had my cat, Oliver, since he was about eight or so weeks old, and I've taken him home every weekend since I've had him. We've obviously stayed at home during breaks in the winter and summer. Each time we go to one of the places, he seems to remember/know where everything is, and he gets along with the dogs at my parents' home. He's well-behaved in the car, and doesn't seem to mind moving back and forth or the trip.

My question is, do you think moving back and forth is affecting him emotionally? (Not necessarily just the driving, but basically living at two places.) Or do you think that since we've been doing it since he was a kitten that he is used to it? He doesn't seem to mind, but of course, I can't see inside his mind. He appears to be the perfect match for a college student! I love him like he is my child.

Any comments are appreciated.
