I am sad to say that my cat passed away. While the vets are still baffled about the skin condition, it turns out she had sarcoma. They say the skin condition had nothing to do with the cancer but I am not convinced. In her final days she even lost hair on her snout (where the whiskers are).

Thanks for all the advice!
