We have two sweet cats, and both have been fixed. The oldest is 2 1/2 years old and female, and the other is a little over one and male. The male cat was part of a litter that she had before we found out that she hadn't been spayed. Here's the problem, we adopted the female from somebody that turned out to have over 100 cats in their home at the time. And although they got along initially, now she is very aggresive with our youngest. She will bite his rear-end, ears(until they bleed), leave claw marks in his nose, and claw out large chunks of his fur. She seems to think that this is how normal cats play, and I'm really worried that my youngest will think this is normal behavior also. We have tried spraying her with water, canned air, time out, and we also tried to re-introduce him to her. The vet can find nothing wrong with her health-wise, and she is very friendly and happy when our other cat is not around. Should we find our youngest a new home, and make our oldest an only cat, or is there something else we can do?
