Hi There,

I wonder if there is a way to make the sofa unappealing to your cat. Maybe by covering it with something that has a rougher texture, or trying one of those "scat mats" or the product called Scat that comes in a can and uses a motion detector. The can sprays and makes what sounds like a hissing noise to a cat when they get within the range you set. Or perhaps, since most cats hate citrus, you can try using something with a strong orange smell.

Regards,
PHKitkat
