With 6 cats and 4 dogs (3 of them young Yorkies!) in the house, the boss certainly isn't me!

Of all the cats, I'd have to say that Simba (who is deaf) is the real boss. And he really has me going lately. He's supposed to eat special food since he went into kidney failure at the beginning of the year. (He went from 16 lbs down to 9 lbs, but has rebounded back to 13 lbs now.)

I was running out of his favorite minced hache K/D, so I had to feed him some NF (it's rather dry) until I could get to the vet's to buy a case of the K/D. As soon as he finished off the 2nd can of NF, I opened a can of the minced hache K/D, and he turned up his nose at it! So I fed him the last can I had of NF and went to the vet and bought a case of NF. Guess what! He then turned his nose up at the NF! Grrrrrrr.

After 2 more refusals of the K/D, I divided it up into bowls and gave it to the other cats, who normally eat the prescription CD/S dry food that Tornado has to eat. After another 2 refusals of the NF, I divided it up for the other cats. This time, they didn't finish it all off, and Simba finally ate the leftovers.

Now I wonder what will happen at the next feeding. ... sigh ...
