Hello - Just wanted to let the group know that Molly has become much more accepting of Ziggy (Molly 10 mos / Ziggy 6wks). They now romp around and play (sometimes gets a bit too rough for Zig). Molly does her inquisitive meow at the door to Ziggy's room and once I open it they are upon each other - Molly licking and cleaning Ziggy, Ziggy at first loving and enjoying the cleaning - but then turning it into a frenzy of play. It is so cute to watch them. I've begun to feed them in separate bowls close to one another and that is going well. Sometimes they swap (which I monitor because they both have different diets) and a few times I've caught them both eating out of the same bowl. Then they'll sit and both clean their paws and faces. It almost looks like Molly is teaching Ziggy how to clean himself. He was pretty scruffy when I first got him home. Probably due to being without a momma for so long. They are just wonderful. I just need to get Molly to begin to be less territorial outside of Ziggy's room. She goes at him a little to roughly when he scampers around the other rooms. Thanks again for all the positive feedback.
