I just adopted a 10 week old male Siamese kitten. I got him from a breeder and I am using the same litter that the breeder was using. I have only had the kitten for 3 days so far...and I have been keeping him in our (me and my boyfriend's)bedroom. He is doing everything normal (eating, drinking, sleeping, playing) except he is peeing on our bed! The first time he did it I thought he was just scared, so I cleaned it and flipped the mattress. Now he has done it twice more and it is getting more regular. If I put him in the box, he scratches around and then jumps out.

For now my boyfriend has put him and his box and his food in the bathroom. We might have to keep him there until he learns....is this a bad idea? I'm really not sure what to do, and I am getting frusterated because this peeing on the bed happens at 5 or 6am and I have to get up and wash sheets at that time!

Any help would be GREAT. By the way, we have never had any other cats in this house.
