The first thing you should do is have a vet check just in case the peeing is caused by a urinary infection. Meanwhile, the kitten should do just fine in the bathroom as long as it's kitten-proof and he gets some socialization with you and your boy friend. Confining a cat to a small area with the litterbox is one of the best ways to train them to the box.

Wash your bedding in Nature's Miracle and see if you can also get some Feliway to spritz on the spot he pees on. This is also a good deterrent.

There is a kind of litter that is supposed to attract cats who have litterbox issues. Check out drsfostersmith.com.
