Hi There,

This may be something that you just have to live with, although trying a larger, and deeper, litterbox might make a difference. It isn't really a behavior issue since your cat does get into the box.

I have a cat here that regularly misses the litterbox. She is a large cat that sometimes chooses to use the smallest litterbox in the house......lol. I just make sure I put newspaper down do I can clean up easily.
