Oh bless your heart, this is a really strange situation. Your cat does need intensive veterinary help and very fast.



Frankly, she could be regaining her hearing - you didn't mention the cause of her deafness, but it may have been due to something temporary and since she has the equipment needed to hear, this might be happening. Imagine how scary the world must seem if this is the case.



Or she may be having a major infection in her ears. Some of the behaviors you describe jive with that idea.



Anyhow, take the cat to your vet for a first step. If he/she is stumped, then seek out a feline specialist. If there is a veterinary college within driving distance, I would recommend contacting them and setting up an appointment for an evaluation. Very often the veterinary schools offer services that are above and beyond what you can get otherwise.
