LOL! My cat HAS to have a glass of ice water when I'm at the computer. He fusses majorly until he gets it. He sits on the keyboard pull-out and I put the water next to him. He drinks it very happily then goes off and lies down somewhere else. Then I remove the water - he killed my keyboard and I learned my lesson.
