My cat brings me soft toys in the morning. Is this normal?

My name is Anita
I have a male cat age 2 years & about 2 months ago he just started bringing me barbie dolls, stuff toys, baby items & other soft items in the morning laying them beside my bed. Every time he thanks I'm trying to sleep he meows real loud until he see I'm awake. He will not let me sleep. Please Help. Thank You!
