I have a 7 year old Tuxedo female cat, that dose the same thing. She carry's the socks from the up stairs bedrooms downstairs and the whole time she is doing the meowing thing. She dose it in the middle of the night, during the day when we are all gone, or right in front of us. She has now moved on to underwear and small stuffed animals, any kind. She even try's to bring down big ones too. It is an adventure every day when we get home to see how many she brought us today. She has never had a litter and she is not the only cat, we have another one too. We thought of the catching of the mouse thing and the board thing but we are at a loss as to why after 5 years of having her she would start this, we moved 2 and a half years ago and she only started this about five months ago. I'm pregnant with our second child, maybe she is jealous?
