You might go ahead and try the Comfort Zone plug-ins and also give her a few drops of Rescue Remedy (found at health food stores) in her water everyday. However, if things don't improve, she might benefit more from a vet exam - you should explain the situation and discuss the possibility of using some sort of anti-anxiety medication for a bit until she seems a bit calmer.
