Hi Everyone!! Okay, so my cat, Kara, is 15 years old and she has always been an in-door cat. She is terrified of being outside. Everytime I have taken her outside her tail thickens and she meows and cries like crazy. Anyway, my family and I moved about 3 days ago.... same neighbourhood. And last night I guess the back door was left ajar and she totally took off. I checked my old house to see if maybe she went back there but she wasn't there. Finally found her about 2 doors down from my new house sitting on a neighbours front porch. When I found her she didn't cry, didn't run away, just sat there and stared at me like nothing was wrong. Now, I'm thrilled that she is okay and now back at home but my concern is that she has never done anything like this before and I'm concerned that she may try to bolt again. I know it's likely anxiety from moving to a new house but she seemed to be adjusting just fine. I'm very concerned. Any advise anyone might have for me would be a great help. I havn't let her out of my sight since last night!!
