>>I am having a hard time trying to comb or brush Boris's coat. He has that double coat that is very plush and a brush just doesn't work very well. I have been using a comb and that works well if I can keep him from grabbing it and chewing on it. Usually I am only allotted about 2 minutes to comb him and I generally have to do it while he is distracted with something else. This is the first time that he has started to loose a little bit of hair. Any suggestions?

LOL! Boris sounds like a pawful. My little guy, Harley, does the same thing when I groom him, so I got him his own little comb that he holds and plays with while I use another one to comb him. Maybe his own comb would keep Boris occupied long enough for you to comb him out too.
