I also have a cat who's spay did not take. Unfortunately, the vet really seems to want nothing to do with it, and will not even aknowledge the screw up. The only other vet around here wants nothing to do with it, either, for fear of "stepping on toes."
The cat still comes into heat. I have every scraggly tom in the neighorborhood comming to my yard to fight with my old male cat. She goes running around the place, across roads and all when she is in heat. I have all the problems of an intact female, she just doesn't have kittens. The cat was a stray in the first place, ( they all come to my house) and I feel put out that I spent so much money on her, just to have this happen.
