A visit to the groomer was not successful since he became "violent" with 3 groomers. My vet offered the name of another vet who would give Mat anesthia and shave the mats. I was given an appt for 10-14, which was a month from his visit. Since then I have tackled the mats by cutting them off a tiny bit at a time. He is now mat free but does not have an award winning hair cut. My question is...do you think I should go ahead and have him shaved and start over?
