I forgot to add... the most recent study I know of, published last year in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Assocation in 2003, stated:
"Findings do not support the hypothesis that specific brands or types of vaccine within antigen class, vaccine practices such as reuse of syringes, concomitant viral infection, history of trauma, or residence either increase or decrease the risk of VAS formation in cats."
The flaw with this is that neither the PureVax un-adjunvanted rabies vaccine, nor this new subcutaneous vaccine, were included in the research. I still believe that those factors *will* reduce the changes of injection site sarcomas, but as of yet there is no evidence that is the case, at least, nothing I know of. ----- Christie Keith Caber Feidh Scottish Deerhounds Holistic Husbandry since 1986 Meet the Felines!
