Hello! Socket is now 9 weeks old. He is learning new things everyday (and so are we!). There are little things that we have to do that most people would not think about. For example: He has a two compartment tray for food and water and we have to keep the food on the left side or his face goes in the water! Also, we noticed that when we pick him up and carry him from the bedroom into the living room he will bump into furniture because he does not know what room he is in. When you call him he stops and "looks" at you and tilts his head to the side. He is such an adorable, lovable kitten. He has learned to get down from the couch or chair by going down backwards. It is sooooooo cute.
The vet is amazed at his progress and very glad he was not put to sleep. When Socket gets older and closer to his full grown size the vet will sew his eyes shut. That is it for now. Thanks for listening. Lisa
