Thanks for replying. I just starting using treats while grooming him yesterday. My vet didn't want him to have many treats before this because the poor little thing had coccidia when we got him,which caused him to have diaharrea. He's finally tested negative for the coccidia and the diaharrea is gone, so she thinks it's safe to give the treats now.

The treats did help with the grooming, but it is going to take time. The problem surprised me since my other Himalayan actually enjoys being groomed. She will just jump up on the table when it's time.

Oh, well, every cat is different, and he's a sweetie in every other circumstance.
