Trimming - VERY CAREFULLY - is probably the only answer since your cat doesn't like the brushing. There are mat combs you can get - and you might try to use one on your cat.

You can also try touching the cat's "sensitive" areas with the brush/comb then giving him an ultimate cat treat. Do this several times a day for a bit then graduate to a stroke...keep going gradually until he will tolerate the brush/comb.

Jaime had the best answer and when i take Babba to the vet the vet will shave him.I also do like Madame alto said is to brush and comb these areas.Babba has his moods and i have to wait until hes ready to be brushed and combed in these areas.
He really loves it SOMETIMES then there are times he really gets mad and i leave him alone.
