I have at least one book that says early fixing is better for cats. That there will be a quicker turn around time for recovery. The one book I have says that as long as the cat is 2 pounds it can be done as early as 8 weeks with no harm to it according to the veterinary association of america.
Last time I was at the vet I asked at the desk, forgot the vet himself, and they said they do it at the 6 month average.
Has anyone here had a kitten done young or know anything about it? Is it worth trying to talk the vet into an early nueter so I don't risk any of the bad behavior if he decides to use his hormones a bit early?
