Hi There,

With my own babies I feed canned twice daily and put out a limited amount of dry food a few times each day. The canned food is usually eaten right away, then the cats know they will get some crunchies. If one or more cats do not want the canned food, I put out some dry at the same time. Some of my cats have health issues and I want to make sure that they eat something.

In the case of your baby, I wouldn't deprive him of dry food if that is all he wants. He is already on an appetite stimulant so I wouldn't push the issue. You don't want him to go without eating and run the risk of him developing fatty liver disease. He has done so well with his lymphoma and it's just not worth the risk.

Regards,
PHKitkat
