Any time a cat doesn't eat for more than a day, it's time to worry. Especially a "senior" cat. It can be dental problems, thyroid, diabetes, or some other medical cause. Emotional upset can be a cause as well, like with the new kitten. However, the not eating can also trigger medical problems such as a fatty liver disorder. Do take her in to your vet as soon as possible and have him run a senior blood panel and do a thorough exam.

Good luck and keep us posted!
