I had a cat who did the smacking right before she hurled a hairball. So Luna might have just had an upset tummy.

As long as she's doing ok and not lethargic and she's eating well, I wouldn't worry too much. You can always give the vet a call and just ask. I think you are enough in tune with Luna that you'll know pretty fast when she is sick enough to rush to the vets.

You might do as Abymom suggested and look for signs of redness in her gums, however and get her in if you see anything abnormal there.
