As soon as you read this, give the cat the food she seems to be asking for. If she is not eating at all and is overweight she is at serious risk for fatty liver disease if she goes much longer without food. So right now the most important step is to get something inside her!

If she will not even eat the food she's been craving, then you need to take her to the vet or emergency vet ASAP since appetite loss is a serious thing. I am assuming here that she would eat given the food she craves, however.

After you've gotten some food into her, you can try again with the new food, mixing it more gradually with the old favorite. You may have to choose another brand of food, however or another flavor if one is available. Also do not discount the possibility that you may have gotten a bum batch of food and that she tastes something that is not quite right to her.

Smile, it will make them wonder what you are up to!
