I don't think I can add any more advice to what Ashley Ella has said. Please get the cat to the vet ASAP! In fact if you can go to a different vet it might be wise, if your vet still seems unconcerned.

Best wishes to you and your cat!

>>
>>A cat that has not eaten for several days, and has lost a lot of weight, is in serious trouble. You mentioned that your cat is limping and your vet isn't concerned.........does this mean that your cat has been to the vet since she stopped eating? Either way, she needs to be seen ASAP!
>>
>>No matter what has caused your cat to become anorexic, she is now at risk for developing hepatic lipidosis, otherwise known as fatty liver disease. This can begin in as little as 2 - 3 days after a cat stops eating and it is fatal without treatment. Even with the best care, some cats will not recover.
>>
>>A senior cat with no appetite should have a full blood panel and complete blood count run, and possibly x-rays, to start. Seniors are at risk for many different ailments, such as kidney failure, diabetes, cancer, and hyperthyroidism. Usually with Hyper-T cats are ravenous, but there is an occasional exception.
>>
>>You can try offering your cat strained meat baby foods (with no added onion) but she needs to see a vet to determine why she stopped eating in the first place.
>>
>>Please keep us updated.
