i have a 3 yr old cat and about 5 days ago i caught him with a robin in his mouth in our front room. i obviously took the bird out of his mouth as it was still alive but as it was no longer able to fly i had it put out of its misery. since this event my cat has been vomitting a lot and in the past four days he hasnt been eating properly. he has had about 3 sachets of food over the last four days when he would usually have at least 3 a day.

also, the other night, he was breathing like he had something stuck in his throat but on a quick inspection i found that there was nothing blocking anywhere that he would let me get to.

im really worried about him because if he continues to not eat im afraid that he will not be around much longer so this is my final resort before taking him to the vets and paying loads of money to find out something that i could possibly find out on here for free.

please help me if you can!
