Hi all,

My 10 year old boy Tucker has had an odd few weeks. He eats high end dry food, but I was out...and had to sub some off the shelf "kitty crack" (as we call it). He was eating it like mad, but also drinking a ton and peeing a ton. I attributed it to the high salt content. We went back to the good stuff...and while he's been peeing less and drinking a bit less (he's always been a big drinker tho)...unless the dog is getting into the covered cat box (ew), he's not really pooping. And now, much to my dismay, he's not been eating either. It went from eating less and less to not even touching his dry food. He licks at wet food and until this morning was eating treats and tuna. He *may* not like the albacore tuna, which is what I gave him today.

I thought he was looking skinnier, but my friend confirmed it today without even knowing he's not eating. I'm terrified of what the vet bill will be...and we haven't any clinics here. I'm thinking diabetes? As far as I can tell, he's not peeing out of the box...and he's thrown up a couple of times over the last couple of weeks. He's never had furballs, so that's not it.

I've had this guy for 10 years...he's my love.

thanks ahead of time,
~k
