I am shocked that you would even waste time to write in for this matter.I recognize this happened in Oct 2006 & I am only replying now because just joined, but hopefully my response will help someone else or another kennel who has taken on the responsibility of an animals well-being.To all kennels - when an animal is in your care the responsibility is yours-NO MATTER WHAT- to assure that the animal in your care does not die; you don't even check with the owner-you just take the animal to a vet immediately if it is ill!this is a no-brainer as it would be a criminal offence to let the animal die.If someone were to be able to prove that you did not take the proper steps to preserve an animals life when it was clear the animal should be seen by a vet you can & will most certainly be held liable and rightfully so - this is only common sense.
