Hi There,
This sounds like something that can be very serious. The best thing you can do for your cat is make an appointment and have him examined by a vet.
Labwork needs to be done, as well as x-rays, and possibly a urinalysis. Senior cats are prone to several medical problems, many of which are treatable if diagnosed early.
I wouldn't wait. If you cannot get your kitty in today or tomorrow, it might be a good idea to take him to an ER over the weekend.
Please keep us updated.
Regards, PHKitkat
